General development stuff

Postby Dekker3D » Sun Feb 07, 2010 1:15 pm

Alright.. this place has gone way too quiet! I've been reading through torque's files and will keep you informed of any progress in this thread. See it as a kind of "what's keeping our alpha" thread, since Lady_T is still having trouble finding a coder.

Current progress:
07-02-2010
Found out what i need to know about file I/O, so that I can read and write profiles to/from a file. Already researched GUIs a while ago, and I'll be able to write most of this. Now all that's left is to find out where logins are handled... Won't be long.

-edit-
I've decided to dedicate this thread to any interesting progress, not just my own. Hence the title change.

'fraid not. after that post i'd been looking for stuff for a week and i have found something, but haven't really had the opportunity to discuss with tokya how to handle it. apparently, the login function does somehow send arguments along with it, but i don't know where to set or retrieve them either.. it's coded really oddly.

my excuse is pretty simple: real life intruded on things.

Just to show that we aren't inactive;

MVM is working VERY hard on the map, and he is doing a great job!

Unfortunately Ben went rather inactive, and due to his busy life we thought it would be best if I would continue on the character design.
And so I did, and I nearly finished the new Mistress, which I will show very soon! :-)

I do not know what else to say really, except that Dekker3D is still working very hard on the engine :)

We/I will try to update you guys more :)
