None so far. it may be something between a mix of BM's and the modern mmo's that are out today.

grass is a huge number of strands. you can simply say "oh, i want only 65% of those strands to be visible" or something, and the engine will do it. you can scale up the rest to compensate and few will even notice for that kind of numbers. so the grass won't cause many problems...

same for the heightmap. you can always just set it to use only a few points on the map, and ignore the rest. the download size will be bigger, but eh. besides, you can probably make the high-res content an optional download if you write your own updater.

Skill Progress Bars
I'd like to see progress bars on skills in BM2 and a simplified view of skill level.

Current:
Dodging 100 (980204)
Sword Mastery 1 (24979)

Ideal:
Dodging 100 (104/19900)
<X............1%..............>
Sword Mastery 1 (24979/100000)
<XXXXX....25%.............>

Health Bars
Bars for character and target's health would be ideal. Bars, not bubbles or hearts!! =D

Basically I would like to see a nice, modifiable GUI/HUD.

That would be incredibly helpful :D myself and the team would love to have you on board! right now im still working on trying to fix my car, then ill be using my money to pay for scripting, then once i have a good foundation laid out for the game, ill let you know what sounds we are going to need :) in the meantime you can also talk to dekker and mitch and they will fill you in on any other info or questions you may have (also including what sounds they may want cause they have influence over whats going to be done too! :P )

ah, yep. a few things that'd be nice are combat sounds (metal hitting metal, wood, flesh and nothing but air), some coin sound for buying/selling, blacksmithing, magic imbueing, casting, and a few monsters. preferably drakes, lizards and golems right now, since those are likely the first things you'll see. slithis and golems are weak monsters, and drakes will simply be fun to mess with.

also, if T agrees, we could use some voice actors. if anyone here feels comfortable with a mic and would like to hear him/herself speak at a merchant, trainer, witch or orc, we might have some use for you.

There will be an Alpha/Beta release. We do not have any ETA.
